Assassin's Creed III Liberation is set in one of the darkest periods in American history .Gameplay mechanics are similar to other Assassin’s Creed titles. You are free to move around and explore the world. You have to master stealth to complete your missions, which usually involve eliminating a relevant target. There is an important difference concerning the storytelling, as you won’t jump to present time. This helps to put players in Aveline’s shoes. However, you will notice you are inside the Animus thanks to classic synchronizing elements, or sequences showing the life of the character.
